The Defence Materiel Organisation Is Seeking Tenders To Provide Aircraft Maintenance Services For The PC-9/A Aircraft To Achieve Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS) Replacement And Global Positioning (GPS) Incorporation.
Project MIS910 Was Developed To Address Obsolescence Issues Identified In The EFIS 10 System, And To Ensure PC-9/A Availability Remains Unaffected Through To Its Planned Withdrawal Date of 2013. To Address This Issue, A Replacement EFIS System Has Been Developed Under MIS910 For Fitment To The PC-9/A Fleet. A GPS Is Also Integrated With This Modification To Meet The Objectives of JP5195Ph3C - The Progressive Introduction of GPS Across All ADF Aircraft Weapon Systems.
Pilatus Aircraft Ltd (the Original Equipment Manufacturer For PC-9/A Aircraft) Has Completed Development And Supply of The EFIS/GPS Modification Kits. This RFT (ASD17/2006) Has Been Issued To Invite Responses From Industry For The Provision Of Aircraft Maintenance Services To Incorporate The EFIS/GPS Modification Into The PC 9/A Fleet.
An Industry Briefing Will Be Held At RAAF Base, EAST SALE On 8 February 2007 At 1000hrs, Which Will Include A Site Visit of Available Facilities. Tenderers May Request A One-On-One "Q&A" Session Following The Main Brief. Commercial Delivery of Advanced Medical Training for Army Logistics Training Centre

Description: Introduction
Headquarters Training Command-Army invites responses to a Request for Tender (RFT) for the part commercial delivery of Advanced Medical Training including the Advanced Medical Assistant Course (AMAC), Military Advanced First Aid Course (MARC) and Patrol Advanced First Aid Course (PAFA) for the Australian Army.
Description of Requirement
The Army Logistic Training Centre require a Registered Training Organisation to deliver specific theory and procedural module based lessons of the AMAC, MARC and PAFA at Health Services Wing (HSW), Army School of Administration and Health (ASAH), Latchford Barracks, Bonegila, Victoria and also the clinical Placement for Students at civilian medical/hospital facilities for the AMAC.
The aim of the AMAC is to prepare personnel as an Advanced Medical Assistant (AMA) within the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The MARC is to prepare Nursing and Dental Officers for employment in triage and resuscitation with the ADF. The PAFA Course is to prepare selected specialist soldiers for employment in limited advanced trauma skills and to provide primary health care capability in remote locations.
Period of Contract
The contract is required to commence on 30 April 2007, for an adjusted period of just less than three (3) years to 20 November 2009 with the option to extend the period to 20 November 2011.

An Industry Briefing and site tour will be held at HSW, ASAH, Latchford Barracks, Bonegila, VIC, on Friday 23 February 2007, commencing at 10.00am. All interested potential suppliers are encouraged to attend.

Project Overlander (Land 121) Is A Multi-Phased Project That Seeks To Provide The ADF With The Field Vehicles, Modules And Trailers It Requires Beyond The Life-of-Type of Its Current Vehicles And Trailers. Phase 3A Is The First Phase In The Replacement Program, Which Will Introduce New Field Vehicles, Modules And Trailers Into High Readiness ADF Units. Phase 3B Is The Second Phase of The Replacement Program, And Will Complete The Replacement of The Current Fleet With The New Range of Field Vehicles, Modules And Trailers Across The ADF.
The Project Requirements For Phase 3A Were Released To Tender In Three Separate Segments: For Medium/Heavy Vehicles And Modules, For Light/Lightweight Vehicles And Modules, And For Trailers. Tenders Closed In Mid-2006, And Tender Assessment Has Largely Been Completed, With The Project Office Moving Towards An Offer Definition And Refinement Phase ('ODRP') With Shortlisted Tenderers.
The Project Office Requires Approximately Thirteen Specialist Service Provider Staff (Seven ILS/Six SE), Who Will Perform A Variety of Integrated Logistics Support And Systems Engineering Roles Through-Out The ODRP, Final Tenderer Selection, And Initial Contract Stages.
